2018 Goals

This is a resolution style post, typically done on the 1st of January each year or for non-bloggers said out loud when asked if you’ve got any New Years resolutions.  The word kind of fills me with dread, like I’m pre-programmed to fail at keeping them by the last day of January.

I’m joining in with the motivational new linky #bestbootforward with the lovely Kate & Chloe, why don’t you pop over & join in!

So I prefer to call them ‘goals’ and here are my 2018 goals in no particular order:

  • Pass my driving test. I started my lessons last June and I can’t wait to be a driver, but I need to be patient, I want to pass my test knowing that I’m a safe, competant driver.
  • Stop biting my nails…I can do it, I have grown them, just not for long.
  • Finish my 3rd year of my law degree with the Open University.
  • Be healthier & fitter by the end of the year.
  • Drink more water.

These are achievable for me, nothing too grand and I’m determined to start the year off how I mean to go on. For me the biggest change and challenge will be passing my driving test, this will give me so much more independence,  I’m so close to achieving it, it’s within touching distance now and need to stay focused on the end goal.

What are your goals for 2018?

First rule of Best Boot Forward is never to put yourself down – your goals are great and amazing and will make a huge difference. Celebrate that for starters! I want to get transport sorted by the end of the year, am with you on the health and fitness front and coincidentally already have my law degree so that one is ticked off. Looking forward to getting to know you better as we both put that Best Boot Forward for an amazing 2018.

Wow! It sounds as though you all ready are on your way to achieving a lot this year! It took me ten years of on off learning to pass my test but it was the best thing I did and I’m sure you’ll make a super driver.

Thank you for sharing your goals with us as part of Best Boot Forward and I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings for us all!

My fiance hasn’t long passed his driving test. Finding the right instructor is EVERYTHING.

I so need to drink more water. I don’t even manage one glass a day at the moment – if it’s not caffeinated it doesn’t seem to pass my lips!

Looking forward to seeing more of you on #BestBootForward!
